Jeep Wrangler Spare Tire Dynamic RGB LED Wheel Light + Brake Light

Jeep Wrangler Spare Tire RGB LED Wheel Light + Brake Light adds more braking visibility to your Jeep and gives it a bit customization via user selectable LED colors.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Connecting the brake wire overrides the RGB color selection and turns the ring RED when braking

DIMENSIONS:

• Total wire length from the wheel ring to the end of the bare wires - 230cm (126") 
• Wire length from the wheel ring to the control box - 190cm (74")

WIRING - red, black, white

• Connect RED wire (+) to the BLUE wire (+) on the OEM connector
• Connect the BLACK wire (-) to the PURPLE wire on the OEM connector
• Brake light - Connect WHITE wire (+) to a GREEN brake light (+) wire on the OEM connector

INSTALLATION:

• DIY time: 1.5hrs.
• Remove the spare tire and install the RGB LED ring on the spare tire mount on the tailgate.
• Remove the inside tailgate panel - There are 14 tabs on the inside of the panel that will need to be popped out before the panel can be removed. Use a panel remover tool.
• Run the wires through the spare wire harness hole in the tailgate. It is located on the right side of the spare tire mount.
• Remove the passenger side taillight. There is a small access cover on the inside of the Jeep that needs to be removed. Under it, you will find a 10mm plastic bolt which will unlock the tailight.
• Remove the plastic cover on the passenger inside of the Jeep that covers when wheel well. 
• Connect the red (+), black (negative), and white (brake) wires to the passenger side taillight black. See the wiring diagram image.
• Mount the control box on the passenger side under the fender cover.
• Test the light functionality - brake and RGB using the remote.
• Re-install the taillight, the tailgate inside panel, and the spare tire
