  • 2009 Toyota Yaris with with H4 canbus anti-flicker decoders
  • 2008 Honda Fit Gen.1 (aka Honda Jazz) with H4 canbus anti-flicker decoders
  • 2007 Honda Fit Gen.1 manual transmission - no anti-flicker decoders needed
  • 2007 Honda Ridgeline without anti-flicker decoders, light flutter ever so slightly, but do so way more with the decoders
  • 2006 Nissan Xtrail. DRL is high beam at 6.3V. H4 canbus anti-flicker decoders were NOT needed.

DOES NOT WORK IN:

  • 2003-2005 Honda CR-V - lights work flawlessly in ON/HI/LOW but have a slight pulse in DRL. Decoders do not remove the pulse. The only solution is to turn the lights to ON.

Perfect led replacement bulb for Accent 2008.

Posted by Alain Eaton on 26th May 2026

Purchased that to replace the 9003 halogen on my wife's Hyundai Accent 2008. We live on the countryside and she didn't felt comfortable anymore driving at night. The problem i had is that on those cars, the high beam filament is used in series for drl to get about 6-7 Volt on each bulb. Most replacement don't work at that voltage and you loose drl during the day then. At best a lot of those cheap replacement flickers wich is annoying for other drivers. Those bulb works perfectly in drl mode. The body length is longer but they fitted perfectly nonetheless on the Accent's lamp housing allowing me to fit the dust cover. As for the light output...well it's now about three times what she got with standard halogen! My wife said that if the light output was higher that actual, the road sign themselves would blind her! She now feel safe driving at night. Please note that since those led lamps work at full intensity at 6v, that means that in drl mode, you will be in fact in high beam mode as recognized by the car's electrical. That means you will loose the ability to signal to others unless you put the lamp switch ON 1st, because in drl, the led lamps operate already at full intensity. I don't know about longevity...but so far so good after 4 months. Worth the price.
