NISSAN NON-POLARITY DRL/HIGH BEAM LED UPGRADE

NISSAN NON-POLARITY DRL/HIGH BEAM LED UPGRADE

If you own a Nissan car, truck, or SUV and have tried upgrading the halogen daytime running lights (DRL)/high beams to LEDs, you likely ended up with having either DRLs or high beams, but NOT both. There is a simple explanation - Nissan engineers reverse the polarity for DRLs. What this means is that a positive and negative wires stay as such in high beam but in DRL the positive wire switches to negative and the negative to positive. This has no effect on halogen bulbs because they are not polarity sensitive. However, most LED kits require the correct polarity to work properly. Luckily there are a few LED manufacturers that have created non-polarity LED kit series. These included V10P and X10i LED series. Both LED Series are plug-n-play. If you can remove a headlight bulb you will be able to install these with ease.
