Bulb Alignment Instructions for LED Bulbs without Set Screws

LED bulbs do need to be aligned in headlights in order to properly reflect from the headlight lens. 99% of time LED diodes will be aligned left and right in the headlight (3 and 9 o'clock). This is easily accomplished in a reflector lens because you can see into the headlight. But what if you're installing LEDs in a projector headlight which you can't see into? Alignment is easy if you know that the power wire on the back of the LED bulb's fan should be facing straight down (6 o'clock). This position aligns the LED diodes exactly at 3 and 9 o'clock.

How is the alignment done on bulbs without set screws you ask? The bulb ring has 1,2 or 3 silicone rings under it which provide resistance preventing the bulb to move freely. However, by holding the bulb's fan between you thumb and index finger, you can still turn the bulb left and right.

ALIGNMENT
Step 1. Install the LED bulb in a headlight by rotating it clockwise as far as it will turn
Step 2. Align the LED bulb by rotating the bulb counterclockwise until the power wire is at 6 o'clock
