Do your new LED's or HID's not turn on due to low power voltage? Use this DC to DC voltage booster to increase 6V DRL to 12V. Can be used with any LED or HID headlight conversion kits where full voltage is required but only 6V is available in DRL mode.
DUAL BULB CONNECTION:
Can also be setup for H/L systems where high beam or low beam is DRL using this voltage booster. If you vehicle's high beam DRL's get only 6V from the vehicle during daytime, then you need to boost the voltage for most LED headlight kits to work properly. However, there are some kits that will operate at 6V. Voltage booster boosts 6V power to 12V, all the time, enabling the high beam LEDs or HIDs to work properly in low voltage DRL mode. Low beam connection bypasses the voltage booster because it gets full voltage from the vehicle's power harness when lights are turned ON.
SINGLE BULB CONNECTION:
Install the voltage booster between the vehicle's headlight connector and the LED driver or HID ballast power supply. RED wire on the booster connects to the positive wire on the headlight connector and the black to the negative wire on the headlight connector. The LINE OUT then connects the yellow wire to the positive side on the LED bulb's connector, and the black to the negative side. basically imagine the booster installed between the OEM headlight connector and the LED driver or HID ballast power source.
INSTALLATION:
You can use various power adapters to create a connection that will become plug-n-play, or you can tap into the wires using wire traps, or you can cut and splice the wires together.
